Hi, I'm Melissa. Growing up, my mom called me Peach Melba. Sometimes she'd switch it up and call me Melba Toast.
I've lived in upstate New York, France, Vermont, China, Connecticut, Seattle, and I now live in Denver with my husband, three kids, and our cat named Peter.
I love my family. And my friends.
I like food. Eating it, cooking it, buying it, analyzing it.
I hate garbage. I'm a big fan of using less; recycling and composting more.
I love consignment shopping. It's all about the hunt.
I like coffee. With lots of milk and sugar.
I love to travel, to try new things.
I like beer. And wine. And whiskey. And gin. In moderation...
I like exercising. I'm not good at napping.
I like taking pictures. I'm not that good at it, but I'd like to improve.
I wonder about lots of random things.
Most importantly, I like documenting my life and experiences. So, I'll be analyzing, sharing ideas, and documenting here. Often about food. But often not. I have a lot of opinions about a lot of things.
